Arklow
Marina

We
are based on the north bank of the Avoca River at Arklow, just
upstream of the commercial quays. With an inner basin of 42
boats - up to 12 m and additional 30 berths on the riverside
on pontoons just upstream from the marina entrance. Vessels
over 40 m should berth on the river pontoons. The inner basin
has 3.8m at low water and river pontoons 2.5m on the eastern
end to to approximately 1.5m on the western end. Then entrance
of the inner basin is marked by a large red light beacon. Approaching
the marina basin or pontoons when you pass the entrance to the
fish harbour on the south side it is best to keep between the
middle of the river and the north bank.
Our standard rate for short stay is for a minimum boat length
of 10 m at 20 Euro per day for 7 days at 6 days charge. This
is inclusive of power and use of the shower/toilet facilities.
The rate increases at 2 Euro per metre thereafter.
Winter hard standing is available.
Our facilities include Ladies and Gents toilets/wash room and
5 individual lockable shower units.
There are 19 pubs and several good restaurants all within walking
distance of the marina.
There are regular bus and train services to the ferry ports/Dublin
- we are on the Dublin Rosslare line.
